Hadden Ervin Wholesale Vehicles began as an idea back in late 1996. A friend of mine suggested that since I knew my way around cars that I should provide a service buying cars for people, and charge them a small fee for the job.
It was a little over a year later that I ran the first ads in the Central Coast Express (NSW) and right away people began inquiring.
I delivered my first car to a buyer early in 98, and steadily the business has grown now to the point where there is a team of sales representatives, and office staff, we have sold over $2.7 million worth of vehicles, but we certainly haven’t lost the customer contact, service and value for money that the business began with. For the moment
I still receive all the initial inquiries personally!
My initial concept was to avoid commissions from the car sellers, this was critical to maintain integrity in an industry with a less than enviable reputation, to date we have never received a kick back on the sale of any vehicle.
Our differentiation from the rest of the industry has proven the success of my unique service. I still proudly put my name on the business, and naturally expect to retain customers for life.
